The staff was exceptionally friendly, the breakfast offered a nice variety, and I enjoyed the spacious layout of my room with two TVs and a decent fridge. ,

Some amenities were lacking as essential toiletries were minimal, and the renovation updates were noticeably incomplete. ,

We encountered big black bugs in our room, which made us feel uncomfortable. Additionally, the door to our room was rattled, leading to concerns about our safety. On top of that, our first room key didn’t work, and we ended up with a couch instead of the queen bed we had reserved.

Large bathrooms made my stay comfortable. Loved the separate sitting area for relaxing! Breakfast variety exceeded my expectations. Friendly, welcoming staff made every moment enjoyable.

Great location to view the total eclipse and close to Lake Amistad. Price was higher due to demand. The breakfast included eggs and potato tots, but no bacon was available. The floor had some gaps between the boards, indicating renovations still in progress. Checking in included a mandatory $50 deposit, alongside the room rate. The front desk staff was attentive and nice. However, the building conditions showed signs of damage and cleanliness was an issue. The air conditioner worked well, keeping the room comfortable. The room itself had a pleasant setup, but some furniture looked worn. It was a quiet stay, though the overall maintenance could use attention.

The location was convenient and right off the highway, making it easy for travelers. The staff were friendly and provided great service during the stay.

My stay at Baymont By Wyndham was pleasant overall. The two rooms I booked were clean, and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. Additionally, the air conditioning functioned well during the stay, which kept the rooms comfortable. The Texas-shaped waffle at breakfast was a nice touch, which my wife particularly enjoyed.
